All teachers are highly qualified Florida certified and are subject area experts for their content area. In addition, your child will be assigned a Student Learning Advocate (SLA), a Florida Certified teacher who will help to support and guide your child throughout their online experience. This experienced professional will keep constant communication between your family and the school; proactively assist students when they are struggling with content, and engage your child with school activities and field trips.

Being a full time online student can have an isolating effect. For this reason, making time and activities available to engage the student with the community and providing socialization, deepening understanding and academic support is the key to student and parent satisfaction. The Student Learning Center is a physical location where students can join together for small group study sessions, set appointments for one to one tutoring with a certified teacher, or work on a collaborative projects with peers. Age appropriate activities specific for the virtual student are planned throughout the school year. In addition, virtual students can take part in any enrichment activity or team sports offered through the school campus.
