Enrollment

Enrollment for the 2012-2013 school year will open on March 23rd and continue throughout the school year. Students may enroll year round. If you wish to find out more information on iVirtual League Academy, please make arrangements to attend one of the school’s information sessions listed on the Home Page or call (407) 520-5002 to talk with an enrollment specialist.

The courses offered initially are limited to students in sixth through eleventh grade, with Kindergarten through twelfth grade available for the 2013-2014 school year. Due to Florida Legislation, students must have been enrolled in a public school the prior year or have a parent or guardian in the Military Service to meet eligibility requirements for enrollment.

One to One Sessions

Once an application has been completed, you will be contacted by an enrollment specialist to ensure your student meets eligibility requirements and to set an appointment with the Student Learning Advocate for a personal information session. During this time, you will learn what a typical day is like for a student in a virtual environment, the role of the parent, and how the Student Learning Center can help your child be successful. You will also have an opportunity to see what the courses look like, understand how to monitor your child’s progress and learn how to use the Learning Management System.

Because research shows that parent involvement is one of the most important factors in the success of a child in school, regardless of learning environment, opportunities for parent support, community resources and volunteering will be discussed.
